In addition to local donations, we are always in search for communities in countries where visual aid is not easily accessible. Papua New Guinni is a small independent project we have developed and self-funded in 2017. With the support of province leaders and local school board members, we travel with our portable equipment, setting up testing facilities and delivering spectacles to those in need.
“Visiting these remote villages in PNG and providing my Optometric services and products has been the most self-rewarding project yet. Setting up a basic consulting room in a remote shed in 50-degree heat and seeing a trail of people line up for an eye examination between sunrise to sunset is the best gift I could offer back to humanity.”
